In everyday's life the differences are very -even extremely- small because the relative speeds between trains and cars are too slow compared to lightspeed. In particle physics research (CERN f.ex.) where particles travel close to the speed of light the effects of Special Relativity become very important. And satellites transmitting information to your GPS would not work properly without a correction necessary to counter the effects of Special (and General) Relativity. Etc. |
