The fact that Jerry's future already exists in your present world doesn not mean that you can inform him of his future. First you have to wait until information of walking though the front door reaches you, and then Jerry has to wait until you inform him of his walking though the front door. Even if the information signals travel at the speed of light your information can not reach him before he has taken the decision. This is due to the specific properties of Spacetime. Because this scenario is a little bit off-toppic I do not show it on a Spacetime map.
